Hey darl! Before I share my thoughts here, I'd like to thank you for our chat today. It was nice ;) So, here goes!
Personally, speaking from experience, having to do something, especially that makes you choose between two or many, following your instinct could be damaging, which could leave scars for ages. Yet, having to do something with thoughts and brain, it may end differently. Well, at least it happened to me ...I have reasons for this.
Say, I give you a situation: you are left to choose between two things; a candle and fireworks. We all know both give lights: the prettier one is of course the fireworks so one may choose this rather than the candle. This is the action taken by instinct. The heart chooses this coz of its beauty. But if you think carefully, candle lights longer than fireworks, though its light is not as sparkling and beautiful as fireworks. If you choose the candle, then you are doing it with brain.
Now if you ask me to choose between a fresh bouquet of roses and the fake ones, my instinct (heart) would definitely love to have the first one. It has those nice smell and the effect it carries with it. That's why most girls love real roses. Not many love to keep the fake ones! Now, that's my heart saying. Wanna hear my thoughts??
I'll take my mum as a very good example! Me and my sister were recently thinking of decorating the house with fresh flowers for Eid, you know to get it all different this year. Guess what she said: "Why waste your money on something that doesn't last?!"
So this year, like many many years before, we have those fake flowers beautifully arranged in vases in our living room. For the smell ... we had to buy that air freshener of course! Now this is what I say doing something with brain!Well, enough said! I think I've said it all. But I'd like to add some to those before ending this ...Whatever you do, either following your instinct or brain, always always always seek for at least an opinion. You never know the step that you'd do would leave that scar in you. When you're in a dilemma, always get the support from your most trusted ones.
Phew! You really got me thinking again here my friend! So, I'm gonna post this comment on my page later for everyone to read and add :)

Brain - To think what's right, what's wrong, what to do, what to say, what we should do..These require thinking.

Instinct - To feel either directly or indirectly affected by a situation. Sometimes we can rely on instinct, sometimes instinct is unreliable.

So I will say, we need brain & instinct in order to survive in this harsh world. I will say people need brain to analyse the situation that prompted our instinct. I don't think it's necessary for me to explain about brain right? What I would like to talk about is instinct. Can we say everyone has instinct? Maternal instinct, lover's instinct, junkie's instinct, etc..What do these have in common? Their instincts are always right!! Yes, mother has a very strong instinct. They will know if their child is in danger, they are willing to do anything to the extent in saving their child's precious life. They will always sacrifice their life for their children. Isn't it a beautiful thing to do?

Lover's instinct..Ahh..I like this one, this is a very classic one. LOL. We as human tend to have a very strong senses when we are in love but sometimes we are not aware. For example, a lady can senses her spouse is cheating her when she feel something isn't right. But beware, sometimes when we are too crazy to even think, the right instinct will never surface. Yup, talking from my own past experiences again. When we trust someone so much, we will never think he/she will betray/cheat us. Then the brain is not working properly, hmm the fuse must be lose somewhere in the brain LOL. Then our instinct will be..Believe him/her blindly.

Junkie's instinct..Why? Because junkie is a best case. When they are so desperate to get their 'stuffs', they are willing to do anything in order to fulfill their 'needs'. They'll rob, break-ins, steal, etc..Just to get money to buy their stuffs. They will not use their brain properly to think of the consequences of their actions, but they do think properly which house to rob & what time is suitable to rob! Ironic huh? Besides, their instincts to 'survive' are so strong they barely/never think their action will be wrong.. How sad :(

So my conclusion is, brain & instinct are interrelated. They are inseparable, but we must be able to use both wisely. Be it in our work, social, family or ourselves. People out there, please, please, think first before you act. Please ask people you trusted, before you proceed in whatever you're doing. Please consider (think) the consequences if you want to follow your heart (instinct) & act on it when it jeopardize your life..

Well well, once more it is an interesting topic to be shared.. Brain vs instinct..Sorry if anybody are not agree with my opinion. I guess we can learn from each other and can learn to accept or atleast appreciate whatever opinion we had..

So here it goes:-

from my personal opinion, everything we do, we need both brain and instinct to get along..Instinct take place when something happen without we know the real things and we can feel it even it is not 100% accurate. But!! Instinct do help in our decision! Brain take place after the instinct!(feeling). We start to use our brain when our instinct tell us something! And our brain are helping us to think of it!(fact) To make a decision we have to believe in our instinct and of course our brain! Both are very useful. In certain things, we just can't depends on our brain 100%.. Sometimes instinct do help us. If we believe that luck is exist so do instinct! And it works and helpful sometimes! Thats why people always said that we do have the 6th sense especially women. And for sure, instinct is one of them.. Having said bout a real decision we have to make, we do have to think clearly.. But as i said, nothing in this world is easy as a story in the cinema. We never know what is going to happen in the future. We are still in the process of learning.. We knew it when we have successfully getting through it.. Different person with different way of life.. We learn from our past. And experience is the best teacher.. Everytime we do mistakes, we keep trying to be on the right track. Thats how life goes..
